A crane is generally required to load heavy material. There are many places where it is suitable to use the overhead crane. Overhead cranes are installed on runners overhead and are often installed to the span of the factory. Thus this enables them to reach any place in the factory. This works for the overhead cranes but the fact that they are more expensive to install and use works against them. One the other hand the Jib cranes are quite inexpensive and are also suited to using in many situations. Jib cranes usually consist of a tilted strut that supports the fixed pulley block.
